Among my most esteemed undertakings is "A Twisted Tale," a sophisticated 2D narrative-driven game with over-world elements. This engaging project invites players to immerse themselves in the journey of a young university student grappling with overwhelming stress and anxiety. These mental struggles ultimately trigger a mental collapse, setting the stage for the compelling quest that follows. The core narrative arc involves the protagonist embarking on a challenging mission to regain control over the four principal lobes of his brain, symbolically representing his struggle to regain mental equilibrium. Through this dynamic narrative, "A Twisted Tale" offers an intricate exploration of mental health issues within an interactive gaming context.

Responsibilities and Contributions:

  • Scripting: I was responsible for developing the entire script portfolio for this game, which comprised approximately 26 individual scripts, each uniquely contributing to the game's functionality and mechanics.

  • Level Design: As the primary level designer, I meticulously crafted the game's environment, ensuring that each stage was both visually appealing and appropriately challenging for players.

  • Narrative Design: I undertook the role of narrative designer, crafting the overarching storyline that adds depth and purpose to the gaming experience.

  • User Interface Design: I created the game's user interface, with a focus on enhancing the user experience through intuitive navigation and aesthetically pleasing design elements.
